 SCOTUS on Presidential Immunity    

On the last day of this term (2023), the U.S. Supreme Court handed down a landmark opinion (6-3) expanding presidential immunity. The dissent by Justice Sonia Sotomayor is fiery.

SCOTUS - end of term

A New Year at the U.S. Supreme Court

The U.S. Supreme Court traditionally begins its year (or term) on the first Monday of October. This year promises to be full of « blockbuster » decisions - on gay rights, abortion, guns, the separation of church and state and, of course, presidential power. NPR’s legal affairs correspondent Nina Totenberg has this presentation. 4 min. 33 sec., transcript available.
